‘Danger. Danger.’

These were the last words echoed into the night by Descat, as he soared high into the sky and then disappeared, lost from the safety of his homeland of Kascadia. He had been awoken from his deep sleep by a strange noise and had gone to investigate. Making his way out of the cave that was his sleeping chamber, he climbed carefully down the steps, which had been naturally carved into the rock and headed in the direction of the disturbance. Scratching, tearing and a distinct high-pitched piercing familiar cry met his ears. The sound was like a bird cawing. It was no bird. It was a Repteag, or rather two of them. Enemies to Kascadia. Repteags were winged creatures, with dark green scaly leathery skin. They had heads that looked too big for their slim bodies and pointed beak like mouths that when closed hid a double layer of razor sharp teeth. You wouldn’t want to mess with them, if you could help it....

Introduction - Strawberry Fairies Save Sandcastle Island

On an island far, far away, there lived two little fairies named Gabrielle and Quinn.

Though Gabrielle and Quinn lived on the island with their family, and many other fairy families, they were quite different from all the other fairies; in fact, they were considered to be very mischievous fairies according to fairy standards.

Now don’t get me wrong, Gabrielle and Quinn were not troublemakers, just very resourceful little pixies that didn’t always do things according to fairy rules, and today would turn out to be the day that these two might just have to break more than one rule in order to save Sandcastle Island.

This is the first in a series of Strawberry fairy books .
